Conference Sponsorship
Conference sponsorship is a great way to support NCHC and honors education. The NCHC Annual Conference offers a variety of sponsorship levels designed to encourage participation.

For the 2010 Conference, we are accepting applications for
$10,000, $5,000, and $2,500 sponsorships.

$10,000 Sponsorship
A $10,000 sponsor will receive the following:
~ Exclusive Sponsorship of a special event listed below.
~ A table/booth space in a general reception area
~ Three complimentary conference registrations
~ Sponsorship recognition/thanks in the pre-conference online program
~ Sponsorship recognition/thanks in the printed conference program
~ Recognition Signage/Thank you at Conference
~ One full program page (8 ½ x 11) online and in the printed program from July 1 (or when payment is received)-November 1, 2009 and then archived on the NCHC website.

- Consultants Center
Always a conference favorite, the Consultants Center gives conference attendees the opportunity to speak with experienced honors deans, directors, and advisers in an informal setting. Near the end of the program, the experienced honors deans, directors, and advisers are listed with their institutions and their particular areas of expertise.
- Beginning in Honors™
Beginning in Honors™ [BIH] serves faculty and administrators who are new to honors education, whether from programs or colleges. This year, in a refreshed and extended pre-conference schedule, BIH uses a highly interactive workshop format to assist individuals who are starting honors programs or who are assuming positions of leadership in existing ones. It addresses basic issues concerning the administration, curriculum
- Best Honors Administrative Practices
Best Honors Administrative Practices (BHAP) sessions are designed to allow participants with all levels of honors experience to focus on a number of key administrative issues facing honors programs and honors colleges. Among the 2009 BHAP presenters are five past presidents of NCHC, a former NCHC Executive Director and Executive Director, and eight NCHC Recommended Site Visitors. All BHAP sessions will be held in the Lafayette Park room on Friday and Saturday.
- Developing in Honors™
Developing in Honors™ (DIH) is a “nuts and bolts” workshop for experienced honors administrators, faculty, and professional staff that includes a general opening session, two rounds of morning breakout sessions, and afternoon extended discussion sections. DIH morning session panelists make very brief presentations, and the remainder of the session is for interaction with the audience. DIH sessions generate conversations, not formal paper presentations.
- Diversity Forum
Panelists will share their expertise and experience, examine thought-provoking issues, raise questions,and facilitate discussion among the participants.
- Poster Sessions
Students, faculty, and professionals present and display original research or fine art in a visual format. Exhibitors are from all academic disciplines and are available to discuss their work and answer questions.
- Student Interdisciplinary Research Panels
Students from a variety of disciplines independently submitted papers to a jury of NCHC faculty,who reviewed the papers and selected several for inclusion in this year’s program. Papers with shared commonalities have been organized into panels under a unified theme as described in the brief panel descriptions included within the program. Each panel will be moderated by a past NCHC president.
- Idea Exchange
If you want to know more about honors education in large, small, or two-year colleges and universities, the Idea Exchange provides an informal setting to learn how others recruit, offer service-learning opportunities, provide research projects or just have fun. In addition, you can meet NCHC committee members and find out what the committees do and what they can offer members. Breakfast will be served.
