NCHC Portz Scholar Nomination Form

Nominations for 2014 NCHC Portz Scholars are now being accepted. Questions should be directed to Dr. Ann Eisenberg by email at Ann.Eisenberg@utsa.edu or by phone at (210) 458-4106.

NCHC institutional members are invited to nominate one paper per institution written by an undergraduate honors student. To nominate a student for the NCHC Portz Scholars competition, the following must be submitted electronically:

•NCHC Portz Scholar Nomination Form
•One-page abstract
•Letter of nomination
•A copy of the completed paper.

    By clicking on the submit button below, we certify that the enclosed paper is the original work of the nominee, an undergraduate student enrolled in the institution’s honors program/college during at least one semester/quarter of the 2013-2014 academic year. We understand that the designation as an NCHC Portz Scholar and $350.00 stipend are contingent upon personal presentation of the winning paper by the nominee at the 2014 NCHC conference in Denver. The conference registration fee will be complimentary for NCHC Portz Scholars selected. The institution agrees to make a good faith effort to defray travel expenses of the NCHC Portz Scholar.
