Why Join NCHC?
NCHC is the national professional association of Honors programs and colleges, their faculty, their staff, and their students. As such, it is an important voice for excellence in higher education. For institutions, NCHC is a source of ideas, criteria, policies, and practices that can enhance your Honors curriculum and help you attract and retain the best students. For individuals, including Honors faculty, students, and administrators, NCHC offers a network of support and assistance that can address your concerns, through its publications, its committee work, and its annual fall conference.
All individual members of NCHC receive:
• NCHC’s monthly E-letter
• All NCHC mailings
• Voting rights in NCHC Elections
• Access to NCHC publications at a nominal cost
• Access to NCHC mailing lists or labels
• Access to the NCHC listserv
• One free copy of each NCHC monograph and publication, including any updated during your membership.
• One copy of the NCHC Handbook, updated annually, which includes important organizational information and membership lists.
• Free computer mailing labels or lists of members, which can be prepared to suit individual needs.
• Heightened visibility for your institution. Other agencies and institutions often use our NCHC Institutional member list for mailing information such as fellowship announcements, scholarships, and funding opportunities.
• Institutional member students and faculty without individual membership can participate in NCHC’s annual conference at the members' rate, a considerable savings.
• Inclusion in future editions of Peterson's Guide to Honors Programs.
• Opportunities to participate in Honors Semesters (for students) and Faculty Institutes.
The only source of revenue for NCHC is membership dues. Your dues support student scholarships, the national office, and other expenses associated with maintaining a national organization. Any and all surpluses from the NCHC Conference go into a reserve fund to insure the fiscal health of the organization; half the interest from these funds support student scholarships or go into an endowment fund for future projects.
The National Collegiate Honors Council dues cycle is January 1 - December 31.

- Institutional & Professional: $600
